New Forms!
Watch this video. You may begin using the new Skills Test Score Sheet
- Discard all old forms that are not currently in use. You may continue to use the old forms to keep track of drives however they are not to be turned into the office.
- Shred any forms that have students information on it like DOB or DLN. You may bring them to the office if you’d like us to shred them.
- Public road tests
- Instructors are now ok’d to administer the road test to students that completed the in-car instruction only (no class). Your process won’t change.
- Do not use the Course Permit form used for other students.
- Look for an email along with a different form to sign for those students.
- Only use this form when provided with an email.
- This form will not be pre-populated with the student’s information.

Drive Efficiencies
All are encouraged to reference the attached drive efficiencies to determine Pass or Fail for students. Suggest additional lessons if necessary.
Next Step Cards
- Give out as many cards as needed. Could be at drive 1, 3, or 5.
- Please be sure to communicate with parents and students the process involved with paying for a booking a time to test.
- Our next batch of cards will have the corrections mentioned during the meeting.
Number of cancellations
We will continue to brainstorm and take suggestions on how to minimize the number of cancellations per student. Until a solution is found, feel free to email us if you would like us to remove a student from your roster
After the meeting: we’ve added verbiage to the reminder emails Please note that more than two cancellations may result in being removed from your assigned instructor’s roster and being placed back on the waitlist.
Things being considered
- Create resources page or open course for students as a refresher of items such as the hand over hand video
- As you review the student course (above) feel free to email with suggested topics or videos to add to this resource
- Look for an email in the coming weeks to gauge your interest or opinion about starting a driver evaluation process for those that may have concerns about their child being behind the wheel. An evaluation similar to Easter Seals (understanding we’re not certified special needs instructors).
