Incentive Pay and Save the Date

An email was sent that contains your current hours between July 2025 and October 2025 as well as a save the date heads up for training on the new system.
Save the Date (range):
At the instructor meeting we introduced the new student information system that is being in-house. This system will be replacing the current scheduling system we’re using. Our goal is to go live with this system in January. Before going live we will need everyone to attend either an in-person or online training session.

We will offer three different sessions the week of December 15. You will only need to attend one of the following:
1. Afternoon (during the work week)
2. Evening (7p or 8p)
3. Saturday
Be on the lookout for an email with more particulars in the coming weeks with exact dates and times.

Incentive Distribution Timeline:

Last year we began distributing incentive pay twice a year. The first incentive payment, covering hours worked from July to December, 2025, will be issued with the last paycheck in January. The second payment, covering hours worked from January to June, 2025, will be issued with the last paycheck in July.

Incentive Schedule

200 hours = $400 (July – Dec Only)

400 hours = $800 (Annual minimum)

600 hours = $1400

800 hours = $2000

1000 hours = $2800

1200 hours = $3600

1400 hours = $4400

If you’ve reached the minimum 200 hour base, the mid-year bonus will be included with the January 31 pay. Your hours will continue to increase, they will not start over.

Eligibility and Hours Requirement:

  • Instructors are expected to work a minimum of 10 hours per week. Annually, that calculates to 480 hours.
  • The 400-hour base incentive, which averages out to approximately 8 hours per week, serves as the benchmark for incentive eligibility. Meeting the 400-hour target within this structure is less than the hourly expectations.

Example: Instructor A has 500 hours between July and December. The 200- and 400-hour minimums are met. Instructor A will receive the $800 mid-year bonus. Continuing with the hours, at the end of June 2025, Instructor A’s total hours equals 1100 hours. The 600-, 800-, and 1000-hour minimums were met. The total for 1000 hours per year is $2800. Since the $800 was received in January, Instructor A will receive $2000 incentive pay in July 2025.

Instructor B has 120 hours. The 200 hours base was not met. There would be no incentive pay in January. At the end of June 2026, Instructor B has 358 hours. Unfortunately, the annual incentive would not have been met. There would be no incentive pay in July.
